Vision: To develop leadership potential in youth from diverse backgrounds through residential programs, empowering them to make positive change in their communities; sponsored by Rotary and run for youth, by youth

1. Develop leadership skills in youth
2. Deliver engaging sessions in areas of leadership, self development, team work, conflict management, public speaking, time management, goal setting and other areas of professional development
3. Provide a safe, encouraging environment for self development and increased self confidence whilst networking with like-minded peers
4. Introduce young leaders to Rotary programs and give awareness of other leadership opportunities within Rotary

What is RYPEN?

RYPEN is an annual 3 day residential leadership camp for 14-17 year olds sponsored by the Rotary Clubs within Rotary International District 9500 (SA/NT). This Rotary Youth Services program develops and empowers the youth of today.

Our guest speakers and youth team leaders inspire awardees on topics like self-belief, working in teams, managing conflict, public speaking and goal setting. The event also allows networking between a diverse range of like-minded youth.

'How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world'  Anne Frank.
